Sunnyside Rehab is very pleased to offer the following physical therapy services and health and wellness programs to our patients:
Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
Physical Therapy (PT)) is a health care profession that has been developed to concentrate on the remediation of impairments and disabilities and to successfully promote improved function, mobility, and quality of life. At Sunnyside Rehab, evaluation and treatment are provided exclusively by licensed Physical Therapists who have been trained to work directly with the patient to provide manual therapy, patient education, and other interventions, as appropriate. For maximum results, the Sunnyside Rehab physical therapist will also provide guidance in developing fitness and wellness-oriented programs for the patient to promote a healthier and more active and satisfying lifestyle.
“Muscle pulls, sprains, strains, tendinosis, tendinitis, impingements, are common injuries that happen to all of us and they frequently put a damper on our lives. After all, who can function at their best when they’re suffering from pain? Physical Therapists are licensed healthcare professionals usually with a clinical doctorate degree who are well-trained to evaluate and treat the neuro-musculoskeletal system. We use evidence-based practice and science with inspiration to help treat a variety of health conditions.
At Sunnyside Physical Therapy and Wellness, the healing begins as soon as you walk thru the door. We are a community of caring and compassionate health care professionals committed to your health and well-being. One of our goals is to provide a place where you can feel like you belong the moment you walk in. We will work with you to help you better understand your body’s needs so you will achieve long-term natural, holistic wellness.”
